Weekly off is applicable to them but not paid (26 days calculation). In case of holidays like 15th Aug, 26th Jan, etc., they must present one day before or after the holiday.

Both under the National Festival Act and the Shop and Establishment Act, this is a major violation.

You may contact any trade union locally active and request them to pursue legal remedy in this matter. Taking up the issue in your name or identity may have serious repercussions on the job, so better to avoid it.
